KASUGAMYCIN 5% + COPPER OXYCHLORIDE 45% WP
A powerful combination offering dual-action disease control through antibiotic and copper chemistry. It provides effective management of both bacterial and fungal diseases with systemic and contact activity, making it a comprehensive solution for blights and spots.
Product Information
Kasugamycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial and fungal protein synthesis by binding to ribosomes. Copper Oxychloride acts as a multi-site protectant, releasing copper ions that disrupt multiple enzyme systems within the pathogen. This combination prevents resistance development and controls mixed infections.
- Bacterial leaf blight (Xanthomonas oryzae)
- Bacterial spot and Canker
- Blast (Pyricularia oryzae)
- Anthracnose & Fruit Rot
Effective against difficult-to-control bacterial diseases. Provides a “green” effect on the crop due to copper nutrition (in trace amounts).
